OUR VISION
The idea of Vanantara Jiva is to craft a living environment that is enlivening. Too much of our lives are spent in concrete jungles, under artificial light, breathing recycled air.
We evolved from vibrant living spaces and it’s now time for us to find our way back to that source.
Our homes are designed to foster this ethos, in our design, practices and materials. While the process of construction by design is one that bears a carbon footprint, we’ve done our best to mitigate it, and additionally we will plant and maintain 1000 saplings for every home at Jiva (for more details www.vanantara.com). In the years to come this micro forest will serve as a carbon sink and offset our construction.
Whether you choose to call Vanantara Jiva home or not, we hope to leave with you the seed of a way of life more in sync with the natural rhythms of our planet.

ARCHITECT’S NOTE
‘Jiva’ has been conceptualized with the intent of crafting residences that are synonymous with the idea of Responsible Luxury.
Set in the heart of a quaint neighborhood, Jiva is characterized by deep landscaped terraces along the east and west directions. Each of the seven units adopt an ‘open plan’ ensuring a seamless flow between the foyer, living and dining areas.
The living spaces extend into large, shaded terraces that accentuate the feeling of space. These terraces incorporate a unique fenestration design inspired by traditional latticed jaalis. Residents can fold these jaali inspired screens for uninterrupted views of the outdoors or close them for privacy and shading making them climate responsive.
The units have been configured to suit contemporary lifestyle needs and facilities like the roof top community space and the terrace garden elevate the focus on wellness. This endeavor is an extension of Vanantara’s vision to promote healthy and peaceful living.
